2020 Nissan Sentra will cost $800 more than the last year model

Nissan confirmed the company is working on a new-generation Sentra. The 2020 Nissan Sentra is a compact sedan that sports extremely modern exterior design. It has four doors and the interior is both roomy and comfortable. The price is affordable and the new model will cost slightly higher than the current model.

The 2020 Nissan Sentra will get plenty of upgrades both inside and outside. However, under the hood, the things will remain, which means the 1.8-liter engine will carry over. The XTronic gearbox is available, along with the optional all-wheel-drive system. Generally, Nissan claims the new Sentra will be a better vehicle in every possible way.

Just like the Altima and Maxima models, the Sentra model plays a very important role in Nissan’s lineup of cars. Sentra will arrive with plenty of updates, just like the Maxima and Altima. The forthcoming 2020 Nissan Sentra will enter in a new generation and it will look significantly better than its predecessor. The exterior design looks very modern and attractive. Some styling cues are taken from the Altima sedan. Those are good news as the Altima is one of the most appealing sedans in the market right now.

Sentra will arrive with all-new 17-inch alloy wheels and optional sliding moonroof. Up front, LED headlights are standard, along with the sharper grille. While the current model didn’t deliver the exciting look, the new-generation Sentra will be something different. More aggressiveness and more dark accents will satisfy the customers, surely.

2020 Nissan Sentra comes with the roomy and techy cabin

It is true the current Sentra model offers one of the roomiest interiors in the compact sedan segment. When you put it in numbers, the 2020 Nissan Sentra could be classified as the mid-size sedan rather than a compact sedan. There is room for five persons and both legroom and headroom are generous. Cargo space is rated at 15.1 cubic feet of space. Folding the rear seats flat will open up even more room. The comfort is also among the best-in-class and the leather upholstery will be optional.

The design looks simple but modern and Sentra offers numerous intuitive systems. Higher trim levels will benefit from the use of more premium materials. The upcoming model will get new 7.0-inch infotainment screen and some optional features will be standard now. Of course, the price of the base model will get a slight increase because of that.

Just like the previous model, the 2020 Nissan Sentra will offer two drivetrain options. Base S trim, along with the SV, SR and SL will offer a 1.8-liter engine. This four-cylinder unit is capable of producing up to 130 horsepower and the 6-speed manual transmission comes as standard. Optionally, a new CVT gearbox is in the offer. The optional engine is the same 1.8-liter four-cylinder that comes with a standard CVT gearbox and standard all-wheel-drive setup.

The optional unit will deliver the same amount of horses but the fuel economy figures will be significantly better. Nissan did this pretty smart, because if you want stronger performance than opt for the Sentra Nismo model. The famous Nismo variant delivers 188 HP and 177 lb-ft of torque thanks to the 1.6-liter turbo unit.
