The compact SUV segment is getting better and better with every new model that hits the markets. One such a model is the 2020 Nissan Rogue that will arrive with numerous changes. The exterior will get better character lines and the interior will see some upgrades for sure. However, all of the changes are minor as the Nissan is planning to deliver a complete redesign in 2021.

The 2020 Nissan Rogue comes with the affordable price and there will be three trim levels in the offer. Just like before, the all-wheel-drive configuration will be optional. The hybrid drivetrain is available and the safety rating is great. Generally, Nissan Rogue is one very capable and competitive SUV.

The upcoming 2020 Nissan Rogue comes with a modern and dynamic styling. The new model will see slight upgrades, mostly up front. The headlights are sharper while the V-motion grille will stay intact. The overall design is based on the X-Motion concept and Rogue will also draw some cues from the Nissan Altima.

The design looks more aggressive with beautiful horizontal lines. Higher trim levels will offer black carbon materials, power liftgate and even the Premium package is available. This package adds more premium exterior amenities such as a panoramic sunroof and LED headlights. The base model will get boomerang-shaped taillights to complete the list of upgrades.

The interior will suffer some refinement as well. The cabin of the 2020 Nissan Rogue will get more upscale materials and soft-touch surfaces. Moreover, the infotainment system is all-new and the EZ Flex Seating System is the new system. This system helps you with folding the front and rear seats flat, so you can fit longer stuff inside the cabin. The rest of the interior will stay intact.

The base model comes with standard cloth upholstery and the leather seats remain optional. The comfort is great, just like the interior room. The second row also offers generous legroom. However, the third row is not available so there is room for five persons. The model for the Asian market is called “X-Trail” and it offers seven seats.

  1. Nissan has some great design but simply aren’t manufacturing them. At my office I seen the 2019 Lamborghini’s and McLaren’s all day long. They look like what Nissan has prototyped but never committed to building. I’m a devoted Nissan owner but feel the company is no longer leading the pack, instead falling behind.
