The all-new 2020 Nissan 370Z will arrive once again by the end of the year. This sports car comes with the powerful V6 engine and the standard rear-wheel-drive setup. Two transmission options and you can buy 370Z in a two-seat convertible or coupe body styles. Numerous trim levels are available, along with the high-performance Nismo variant.
However, this may be the last 370Z model that will hit production. Some rumors are saying that Nissan may replace this model with the brand-new model that will carry the name “400Z”. New model won’t get significant changes, but some minor tweaks will happen for sure. If you want 370Z Nismo version, it is only available in coupe variant.
2020 Nissan 370Z To Be More Stylish And Sporty
No matter which body style you opt for, the 2020 Nissan 370Z will look very stylish and attractive. Both coupe and convertible variants are perfectly combining tradition with the modern design. Some reports suggested a total redesign but that will not happen for numerous reasons. Whatsoever, clean design with aggressive cues will largely stay intact.
The grille is slightly larger now, along with the LED daytime running lights. More chrome materials are visible and the 19-inch wheels are all-new. The rear end hosts more aggressive bumper and it seems the rear end will sit lower than before. Nissan is also offering new exterior paints and the optional Heritage Edition looks amazing.
2020 Nissan 370Z Interior Updates
From the inside, the 2020 Nissan 370Z will also get minor updates. There will be four trim levels: base, Sport, Sport Touring and Nismo. Convertible variant offers three trims only. It seems the base model lacks much-needed features and it needs an interior refinement that will not happen, unfortunately. However, comfort is still amazing and the seats are very supportive.
Both front seats are wrapped in black leather with Alcantara accents. The steering wheel is extremely sporty and we recommend the optional Tech package that adds a larger touchscreen unit and navigation system. Moreover, the 370Z model offers a rearview monitor, Bose Audio system and some more premium features as optional. The legroom is rated at 43.0-inches.
2020 Nissan 370Z Engine
The upcoming 2020 Nissan 370Z comes with the same 3.7-liter V6 naturally aspirated engine. This unit is capable of producing up to 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque.
The rear-wheel-drive setup comes as standard and the same stands for the 6-speed manual transmission. A 7-speed automatic gearbox is optional. All trim levels are using the same V6 engine.
2020 Nissan 370Z Nismo
However, the high-performance 370Z Nismo will get a slightly different output. Nismo variant will produce 350 horses and 276 lb-ft of torque. An Adaptive Shift Control system is available and Nismo variant sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 5.0 seconds. Top speed is rated at 155 mph. Driving manners are superb, on all trim levels.
Price and Release Date
The price of the all-new 2020 Nissan 370Z will stay intact. The base model will start at around $30,000 while the Nismo version will be priced at $45,000. This model will go on sale in the last quarter of 2019.
Rumors are saying the 2020 Nissan 370Z will be the last model that will hit the production before Nissan replace it with the brand-new 400Z model.
