It’s been 50 years since the Nissan rolled out its very first Z car. Now, the 2020 Nissan 370Z is about to arrive once again. For its 50th Anniversary, Nissan will offer a special 2020 Nissan 370z 50th Anniversary Edition. This car will be available in red and white or black and silver colors. Furthermore, Nissan will offer exclusive wheels and red accents.
The interior will get a darker look and some fine touches. Also, this model will get a couple of premium features, especially from the inside. As you can see, this Anniversary Edition is more like some kind of an Appearance Package. Nissan didn’t say anything about the mechanical changes and we don’t expect any innovations under the skin of 370Z.
2020 Nissan 370z 50th Anniversary Edition is Available in Two Color Schemes
The all-new 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition will hit the roads with a fresh look. This special edition will offer numerous exterior innovations. For the start, this car is available in two color schemes. You can choose between the red and white combination, or black and silver scheme.
No matter which combination you opt for, iconic stripes on the doors are available. Stuff such as side mirrors, door handles, and hood are finished in the body color. A premium 19-inch wheels with red accents are available. A thin line runs all the way from the headlights to the end of the rear window. A similar styling cue we can find in the 340Z base model. Additional badging is present on the front and at the back.
The interior will provide even more sportiness. The seats will get a special 50th-anniversary logos. Also, darker chrome trims are visible and upholstery is different. The Alcantara materials are everywhere. That includes seats and the steering wheel. The wheel will get a red stripe at the 12 o’clock position. Further suede inserts are visible as well. The cabin looks unique, especially with new contrast stitching.
The 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition will offer a standard 8-speaker Bose audio system as standard. On top of that, active noise cancellation is standard too. Front bucket seats are heated and are offering four-way power adjustments. The rest of the interior won’t depart from the original 370Z model.
2020 Nissan 370z 50th Anniversary Edition Powertrain Details
Nissan won’t introduce any changes under the hood. That means a 3.7-liter V6 is still present. This engine is producing 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel-drive setup is available, properly for a sports car. Furthermore, a 6-speed manual transmission is standard. Optionally, you can opt for the 7-speed automatic gearbox.
This naturally-aspirated engine is pretty rare for today’s standard. You will hardly find a downsized engine with a turbocharger for such an affordable price. Under the shell, the 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition will offer some changes. That includes new double-wishbone front suspension. On top of that, new brakes are installed.
