Nissan is yet to announce what engine will power this hot hatchback. However, according to some sources, the 2019 Nissan Pulsar Nismo will get a turbocharged unit. A 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine is the most realistic option, having in mind that the Japanese carmaker did the similar thing to the Nismo model.
If it becomes true, this engine will produce no more than 300 HP, while the top-speed will be no less than 155 mph. However, with this specs, it will be able to run from 0 to 60 mph in just 6,5 sec. This four-cylinder drivetrain offers a 6-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel-drive configuration. Just to compare the model Ford Focus ST comes with an engine that produces 252 horsepower, this one is able to go from 0 to 60 mph in 5,9 sec. However, Volkswagen Golf GTI comes with 210 horsepower and it runs to 60 mph in 6,3 sec.
2019 Nissan Pulsar Nismo price, release date, competitors
Until Japanese manufacturer releases the official price, all we can do is guess. Moreover, a U.S. version of 2019 Nissan Pulsar Nismo is very uncertain at the moment. Furthermore, we’ll have to wait and see it this hatch will arrive in the States.
