Although almost a decade old, the 2019 Nissan GT-R will continue to be one of the most competitive sports cars around. The famous supercar came in 2009 and didn’t have too many updates for all these years.
There was one mid-cycle refresh, but that was more than five years ago. Still, this model is definitely one of the most beloved modern sports cars. Its styling might not be the most attractive in these days, but its performances are undisputable. Although we were hearing numerous stories about the redesign, it is now certain that the 2019 GT-R will continue without bigger changes.

There will be four trim levels in the offer for the 2019 Nissan GT-R. The base model is called Pure and comes with standard features like 20-inch wheels, keyless entry and ignition, front and rear parking sensors, an adaptive suspension, configurable drive modes etc. Inside, it comes with things like rearview camera, an 8-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, voice controls, smartphone integration, 6-speaker Bose audio system etc.
The next one is Premium and it adds several interesting features like noise cancelation, titanium exhaust system, 11-speaker audio system etc. The Track Edition trim level comes with several upgrades, such as Nismo’s suspension, interior upgrades etc.
Finally, there is a hi-performance 2019 Nissan GT-R Nismo. This version comes with various design modifications to provide better aerodynamics and overall performances. Even the engine comes with additional power. Racing seats and racing suspension are also part of the standard equipment.
2019 Nissan GT-R engines
The 2019 Nissan GT-R will continue with a well-known 3.8-liter V6 unit. This amazing engine comes with a turbocharger and delivers 565 horsepower and 467 pound-feet of torque. For the Nismo version, there is a nice power boost. A max output goes all away up to 600 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque. Both models come in a pair with the same 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. Such amount of power guarantees amazing acceleration numbers. The base engine provides an impressive 0-60 spring in about 3.2 seconds, while Nismo version offers an even more impressive result. Add to this car’s excellent suspension, and there’s no wonder that this model still holds one of the most impressive results at Nurburgring.

The 2019 Nissan GT-R is expected to come late in the year. When it comes to price, base models should go around 100.000 dollars. Speaking of the future, this amazing car is quite old, so we expect to see the redesign as soon as possible, maybe even in the next year.
