The GT models are offering a 3.0-liter V6 unit as standard and it can produce 225 HP and 215 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, a super-all wheel control system comes as standard. Tow rating is set at 3,500 pounds and both units are using a 6-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, a CVT automatic transmission is optional.

A hybrid variant is also available, and you will find it under the name Outlander PHEV. The combination of the 2.0-liter engine and AC synchronous motors are good for the 117 horses and 137 lb-ft of twists.

Yes, it delivers less power than the previous options but the fuel economy is much greater. Moreover, the battery pack is large and a full charge takes around four hours. The new PHEV model can travel up to 33 miles in pure Electric Vehicle (EV) mode.
