2021 Infiniti Q70 Redesign, Features, Price

The luxury sedan has been around for a quite long time. The original model was introduced way back in 2011, while the Q70 name started to be used a couple of years later. Therefore, it’s clear that most competitors are much younger and more up-to-date. That’s a clear indicator that a completely new generation should arrive in the near future. However, it looks like that won’t happen in the next year. The latest reports are suggesting that the 2021 Infiniti Q70 is about to continue in the same way, with a familiar design and features.

Of course, smaller updates are always possible. We may see additions to the list of standard equipment, but things will generally remain the same. Therefore, we don’t expect any earlier arrival than usual. The 2021 Infiniti Q70 should hit the market sometime late in the next year, with no bigger changes in terms of price.

2021 Infiniti Q70 Redesign

This is the aspect where we don’t expect to see any particular change. The current model has been around since 2011 and we haven’t seen significant changes so far and we probably won’t in the next couple of years either. That means you can count on a familiar design, built of a good-old FM platform, with FR layout.

Of course, the styling has been updated a couple of years ago, but the 2021 Infiniti Q70 will still be far away from the brand’s latest design language. It comes with a little bit of older styling solutions, though we can’t say that it looks bad. Moreover, it looks very good, though rivals look better. Unfortunately, we won’t see any particular styling change in the near future. Eventually, we could a couple of new color options in the offer. Other than that, things are about to remain the same.

Interior changes aren’t expected either. The 2021 Infiniti Q70 will carry on with the same cabin design, which is kinda mixed bag. On one side, materials are amazing and this model definitely proves its premium reputation. Materials may be hi-end, but the overall styling of the dashboard looks really outdated are rather resembles some SUV than a luxury sedan. Without any doubt, most rivals look far more modern in this aspect.

Infiniti Q70 Interior

When it comes to interior space, this model stands pretty good. Both rows of seats are spacious, while the front seats are also massive and very supportive. The second-row bench is comfortable as well, though the middle seat feels a little bit squeezed. Of course, there is also a stretched, 2021 Infiniti Q70L version to come, which provides even more space on the inside. When it comes to the cargo volume, you may count on about 15 cubic feet, which seems average for the class.

This is the aspect where we can see a couple of novelties. Still, most of the things will remain the same as the current model. Speaking of the current model, it comes standard with tech goodies like dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth, an 8-inch infotainment system, navigation, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, and satellite radio. Additionally, you can upgrade it with a premium 16-speaker audio system. The infotainment system feels a little bit outdated, so you can’t count on things like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

When it comes to safety features, all models currently come with things like automatic headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a 360-degree parking camera. For the next year, the list of standard safety features could be expanded with things like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, active lane keep assist, which are currently available as options.

2021 Infiniti Q70 Engines

Two engines are currently available in this luxury sedan. Base models come with a familiar 3.7-liter V6, which is good for about 330 horsepower. With such numbers, you may count on nothing but great driving dynamics. Things are even better if you opt for a V8 engine. A 5.6-liter V8 is good for about 420 horsepower. Both engines are powerful, but both are also very thirsy. The V6 returns around 18 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway, while the V8 is good for about 16 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

2021 Infiniti Q70 Release Date and Price

Considering that there are no bigger changes to come, we presume that the 2021 Infiniti Q70 will come in a typical time of year, sometime in the last quarter of 2020. The current model starts at around 50.500 dollars and we don’t expect bigger changes in the future.
